Rebecca Austill-Clausen Becky, President of Austill’s, has been an Occupational Therapist since 1976. She graduated summa cum laude from Boston University’s Sargent College of Allied Health, Department of Occupational Therapy with an Advanced Master’s in OT in 1980. Becky is a Fellow of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Prior to founding Austill’s in 1984, Becky developed two private practices focusing on services to children. Becky’s past leadership positions include President of the Delaware OT Association, Vice President of all American OT State Presidents, Secretary of the PA OT Licensure Board, and JCAHO Home Health Advisor representing national OT, PT, Speech and Recreation Associations. Currently, Becky is a member of Temple University and Harcum College Advisory Boards and on the American Journal of OT Editorial Board. She is also Clinical Instructor at Thomas Jefferson and Duquesne Universities. Becky is a frequent workshop presenter and recipient of numerous awards for innovative quality services in private practice.
 
Robert DiSciullo, CPA

Robert DiSciullo Bob is Austill’s Chief Financial Officer, working with Austill’s since 1993. He is a graduate of the University of Scranton with dual majors in Accounting and Economics. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1989 and is President, founder and owner of Sterling Services, Inc., a private accounting firm specializing in independent contractor services. Bob is the recipient of the National Exchange Club Service Award for exemplary volunteer activities, particularly with homeless individuals. Bob manages all Austill’s financial and computer services.
 
Laura Gladden, M.Ed., OTR/L

Laura Gladden Laura, Austill’s Director of Operations and Continuing Education Coordinator, has been working at Austill’s since 1998. She has been an Occupational Therapist since 1983, earning her Master’s in Education, specializing in Motor Learning, from the University of Virginia. Laura previously was the Clinical Education Coordinator/Clinical Specialist with Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital and has been Certified in Neurodevelopmental Training (NDT) since 1990. Laura has extensive knowledge in sensory processing, autism, assistive technology, neurology, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), cognitive rehabilitation and organizational behaviors. Laura is a frequent presenter to school district personnel and clinical therapy staff.
 
Kerri Hample, OTD, OTR/L

Kerri Hample Kerri, Austill’s Director of Placement, joined Austill’s in 2001 and has been an Occupational Therapist since 1999. Kerri earned her Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy in 2006 from Rocky Mountain University and is the recipient of numerous leadership awards including Thomas Jefferson University’s Outstanding Leadership Award, Student Life Achievement Nominee, Jefferson Award Nominee for excellence in community volunteerism and Special Olympics PA Volunteer of the Month. Kerri is a member of the PA Occupational Therapy Education and Licensure Board. She is a frequent lecturer on school-based services and Adjunct Instructor at Elizabethtown College.
 
Glen Birmingham, MS, PT, PCS

Glen Birmingham, MS, PT, PCS Glen is a Pediatric Coordinator with Austill’s, joining our company in 2005. He has been a Physical Therapist since 1993, receiving his Master’s of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. Glen is Board Certified in Pediatrics with extensive NDT pediatric and adult training along with having completed pediatric craniosacral therapy Instructor Assistant training. Currently, Glen is the APTA pediatric representative for PA and also PA PT Chapter Representative in pediatrics. Previous to Austill’s, Glen held positions of Clinic Manager, Director of Ambulatory Services and Director of Rehabilitation for clinics and hospitals.

Kristin Engel Kristin, Pediatric Coordinator with Austill’s, has been a Physical Therapist since 2000 and joined Austill’s in 2003. She earned her Clinical Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2003 from Temple University. Kristin was a pre-med/biology student earning her Bachelor’s degree in 1996. Kristin is an exceptional school-age and early intervention therapist. She developed an extensive aquatic PT program for children in New Jersey. Prior to Austill’s, Kristin was involved with numerous entrepreneurial pediatric programs for children including coordinating a National Youth Sports swimming program.
 
Jennifer Hernandez, MS, PT

Jennifer Hernandez, MS, PT Jen is Placement Coordinator and Clinical Fieldwork Coordinator with Austill’s, joining our family in 1999. Jen has been a Physical Therapist since 1996, earning her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University and receiving the Arcadia University Leadership Award. Jen has extensive pediatric expertise in school systems and early intervention services, along with her experience with adults in home health and hospital settings. Jen initiated Austill’s clinical fieldwork program, servicing university students throughout Pennsylvania. She is also an APTA credentialed Clinical Instructor. Prior to Austill’s, Jen was Lead Therapist at Hahnemann University Hospital.
 
Stephanie Klenk, MS, OTR/L

Stephanie Klenk, MS, OTR/L Stephanie is a Pediatric Coordinator with Austill’s, joining Austill’s in 2009. She has been an Occupational Therapist since 2000. Stephanie earned her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Temple University. Stephanie has been accepted into membership with Pi Theta Epsilon National OT Society. She serviced as Interim Therapy Coordinator in a community preschool program prior to Austill’s. She has extensive experience working with children who have sensory processing disorders, social skill issues, autism, and feeding concerns, serving as a behavioral consultant for students on the autistic spectrum.
 
James Riggs, MS, CCC/SLP

James Riggs, MS, CCC/SLP Jim, Pediatric Coordinator with Austill’s, has been a Speech Language Pathologist since 1969. Jim earned his Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Bloomsburg University. He is certified in PA as Supervisor of Special Education and has a PA teaching certificate. Jim is the recipient of the Jack Cox Memorial Award and received a citation for contribution to the field of Augmentative Assistive Communication from PaTTAN. Immediately prior to joining Austill’s in 2003, Jim was Supervisor of Speech, OT and PT with the Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit and prior to that Supervisor of Sensory Impaired Programs for the deaf, hard of hearing, blind and visually impaired.
 
Susan Smith, OTR/L

Susan Smith, OTR/L Sue, an Austill’s Pediatric Coordinator, has been an Occupational Therapist since 1975. She earned her Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Education from Penn State University. Sue has over 30 years of pediatric expertise including extensive school-based work in the Intermediate Units and School Districts. Prior to joining Austill’s in 2007, Sue was Chief of Occupational Therapy at the Alfred I. DuPont Institute in Wilmington, DE and Occupational Therapy Department Head at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
 
Mary Jane Fisher

Mary Jane Fisher Mary Jane is Austill’s Comptroller, joining our family in 1996. She is a graduate of Brandywine College and is directly responsible for Austill’s payables, receivables and invoices, as well as for managing our human resources. Mary Jane has extensive bookkeeping, accounting and office management experience since 1970.
 
Denise Mange

Denise Mange Denise is Austill’s Database and Computer Coordinator, having joined us in 1996. She is responsible for data entry and accountability compilation, with extensive computer-related office experience. Denise has been a Board Member with Chester County Down Syndrome Interest Group and involved with the Philadelphia 3-day to benefit breast cancer.
